Ericsson is seeking an experienced software developer to design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality and high-performance user interface (UI) code. This developer will work with user experience (UX) designers and product management along with back-end engineers to deliver solutions using a modern user interface. This individual should have experience writing modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with Ember.js would be preferable. Any other JavaScript library (Angular React, Vue, etc.) would be preferable. Test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and improve application performance in production
What Will You Do?
- Design and develop user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Follow Agile development methodologies and adhere to prescribed processes.
- Utilize Git and GitLab for version control and collaboration.
- Create and maintain reusable UI components.
- Perform unit testing on components and conduct system-level testing.
- Ensure compliance with UI best practices and standards.
- Collaborate effectively with remote teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Graduation in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent 4-year technical education.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for design and development.
- Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Ember JS and Ember CLI.
- Knowledge of Mirage for UI development.
- Experience with UI automation testing using JavaScript or Selenium.
